About your practice

Common questions

Do I need a piano to warm up?+

No. Breath releases, humming, and gentle glides work without one. A piano or reference track becomes useful when pitch matching is part of the goal.

Should a warm-up reach my highest note?+

Not by default. Prepare the range the music needs and stop before the edges become a test.

What if I only have five minutes?+

Keep the same order but shorten each stage. Spend less time on each exercise and leave room for pauses.
