Hear the contour

Follow a small reference glide

Choose an easy starting note and listen once. Try the shape on “brrr” or a hum, then take a breath. This synthesized tone shows the pitch shape; it does not demonstrate the lip flutter.

Glide up a fifth, then return

About your practice

If the trill gets stuck

My lips will not flutter+

Let the lips touch without clamping. Try lightly lifting the cheeks beside your mouth, or switch to humming.

I run out of air+

Use quieter, two-second bursts. Pause and take an ordinary breath before trying again.

It stops on higher notes+

Make the glide smaller and lower. Do not push harder to keep it going.
